The girls did the tradition of carving pumpkins. Shari found a picture of a Beagle to carve on her pumpkin this year. She solicited Zeek's help with the details. Molly carved hers all by herself. They both look great!
Last week I had the honor and privilege of being with my friend Aimee to have her baby. How amazing is God and His creation of a perfect baby boy. I will forever cherish the memories we shared together and the birth of Baby Shane.
Yes they did! It was a first for both divers.... diving at night and catching lobsters. It's not as easy as it looks, but Zeek and Brandon got 8 bugs between the two of them. More than anything they had fun and look forward to many more dives and some tasty dinners. Good for us, Brandon doesn't care for lobster, so they all came home to our house. We're gonna be having some "surf and turf."
We went up to Oak Glen for the afternoon! The kids had a great time, but don't think for a minute it's just an inexpensive place to take the kids to enjoy the afternoon. It could cost you as much as Disneyland if you did all there was to offer. We stuck to feeding, petting and watching the animals, and playing in the bounce house. We did bring home an apple pie and the kids each picked out an apple, the "best apple they've ever had!"
I didn't know him when he had his "fro," but I guess this is pretty close to what he looked like on a daily basis. I'm glad I met him after nature took its course and his hair began "thinning" as they say.
